We exist to make freelancer trust portable, verified, and permanent. No matter where you found your clients, no matter which platforms you have worked on, your track record should follow you everywhere — and it should be independently verifiable by anyone, without needing an account on any specific platform.
The problem we saw
Freelancer reputation is broken.
Reputation is imprisoned
A freelancer spends 5 years building a perfect track record on one marketplace — 200 completed jobs, a top-tier success score, dozens of glowing reviews. Then they decide to try another platform, or start taking direct clients. All that work? Invisible. They start from zero. Their reputation does not travel with them. It belongs to the platform, not the person who earned it.
Offline work is invisible
Many of the most experienced freelancers work entirely through their personal network — direct clients, word of mouth, referrals. They might earn six figures a year and have zero public proof of any of it. When they approach a new client, they have nothing to point to. No reviews, no ratings, no verified history. All that trust, built over years, completely invisible to anyone new.
Clients cannot verify freelancers
If a client finds a freelancer through a referral, on LinkedIn, at a conference, or through a Google search — they have no reliable way to verify that person's track record. They either take a risk on a stranger or spend hours trying to cross-reference profiles manually. There is no independent reputation directory for freelancers. No independent source of truth. Until now.

Every freelancer gets a profile at lancerank.com/theirname. It exists independently of Fiverr, Toptal, or any other platform. The freelancer owns it.
Verified scores from real data
The LanceRank Score is built from a weighted algorithm across 5 trust factors — track record, reputation quality, platform credibility, direct LanceRank proof, and recency. Bayesian smoothing on ratings, log-scaled volume, 18-month recency half-life. Not a simple star average.
Works across every platform and direct work
Connect Fiverr, Toptal, Freelancer.com, and more. Add offline projects — clients verify via email. Every source is labeled and contributes to one unified score.
