Recent observations hint at the possibility of galaxies hosting two AGN\u002FSMBH pairs, known as dual AGN, resulting from the collision or merger of large galaxies. These systems may evolve into binary AGN under specific conditions. In this thesis, we investigate dual AGN and their detection methods in high-energy astrophysics, focusing on image and spectral analysis. Initial image analysis identifies dual AGN candidates, paving the way for in-depth spectral exploration. Our main focus is the dual AGN system Mrk 739, using data from Swift, NuSTAR, XMM-Newton, and Chandra observatories for comprehensive analysis and comparison. Through comparative analysis, we estimate Mrk 739's nuclear separation to be approximately 3.6 kpc. Additionally, we discuss other dual AGN systems like NGC 6240, known as a binary AGN. This systematic study enhances our understanding of dual AGN phenomena and lays the groundwork for uncovering more such sources, contributing to our knowledge of galactic dynamics.
